Review: Luckily we had a reservation….The restaurant was full and many people were lining up to get a seat! The menu has a good range of dishes on offer. We had an array of mixed Antipasti followed by Pasta and Pizza. The Antipasti ranged from thinnly sliced Breasaolo to Saffron Arancini and grilled squid with garlic. A great way to start and share a meal with friends and family. The Pasta was hand made and cooked perfectly. The Gnocchi with mixed wild mushrooms was excellent, slightly over salted. The Pizza was served hot straight out of the pizza oven with a perfect crisp. Remember Pizza should always be eaten straight from the oven. Once a Pizza ends up in a “box” as a take-away, will mark the end a good Pizza!
In general the food was good, tasty, honest and straight forward. Service was friendly and good. The restaurant has a few key features including the open kitchen in the back of the restaurant, huge bar in the middle and a wine cellar area to the left with a wide range of wines from the region and overseas. Overall a pleasant place to eat in St. Kilda.
Remarks / Special: PS: make a reservation (specially for weekends and Friday nights) in order to get a seat! Download my Review here as a PDF file
