This recipe is as easy as A, B, C. The “chocolate” cake/brownie recipe is made with everyday ingredients which can be found in almost any home pantry. You can choose the nut you like or/and select your preferred mixture and combination of different nuts. Either way, you will have an awesome cake/brownie which you can share (or not) with your loved ones.
The shorter (18-20 minutes) time you bake your chocolate cake/brownie the chewier and gooier it will be.

INGREDIENTS
QUANTITY UNIT PRODUCE
300 GR Nuts (cashew, peanut, walnut, pistachio, macadamia, etc.)
300 GR Dark bitter couverture (cooking chocolate)
300 GR Flour self-raising
300 GR Butter, unsalted
300 GR Sugar white
300 ML Milk
SOME Vanilla essence
MISE EN PLACE | PREPARATION:
- Weigh all ingredients – have them ready to go
- Cut butter into small cubes, leave outside
- Break up dark bitter couverture into smaller pieces
- Add nuts into blender/food processor and blend till it turns into a fine meal
- Add dark bitter couverture and blend till fully combined with the nut meal
- Add butter and blend till smooth
- Add flour, blend till fully combined
- Add sugar, blend till fully combined
- Add milk, blend till fully combined
- Add vanilla essence, blend
- Line out baking tray (square) with baking paper
- Pour cake mix into the baking tray
- Smooth/flatten out the cake mix evenely
- Bake in the pre-heated oven (top/bottom heat) by 190 C for approximately 20-25 minutes
The shorter (18-20 minutes) you bake the cake mix the chewier and gooier the consistency (ganache like)
- Let cool down for 5 minutes, take/lift out from the baking tray onto a flat surface or/and a cutting board, sprinkle with grated dark chocolate
- Cut into small squares/pieces and served warm with fresh (marinated berries) and thick cream, sprinkle with grated dark chocolate
- Or let cool down completely, cut into small squares/pieces and store in the fridge (brownies)
The longer (25 minutes) you bake the cake mix the firmer the consistency (sponge like)
- You can use this cake (sponge like) as a base for any cakes and decorate/finish accordingly
