Review: “Ying Yang Philosophy on a plate”
The main attraction of the Food at Chefs Gallery is the handmade Noodles (by a Master Noodle Chef). You can watch how the Chefs prepare the dishes including Dims Sim, Dumplings, Roast Duck, Pork Belly, Fried Rice, Seafood and the live Noddle making behind the glass wall. The extensive Menu offers great food for sharing like the “Kingfish sashimi Chao Zhou style, This delicate fish is infused with a blend of fish and soya sauce, citron jam, served with finely shredded ginger and chopped lettuce” which was refreshing and tantalizing on the palate. Another favourite and great flavour combination is the “Prawn and squid Shui mai topped with avocado and fresh roe paste”. The next dish of the night was the “Spinach handmade thick noodles wok fried with prawns, mussels in shell, baby calamari tubes, and Chinese shitake mushrooms, dusted with seaweed and sesame powder”. Outstanding in flavour and texture – a must have when dining @Chefs Gallery. Other recommendations of dishes include the “deboned roast Duck with Lychees covered in a light mint and plum sauce” and the “Prawn and Pork Wonton soup with handmade noodles”. Overall an excellent meal in a very busy place. Service is OK, Atmosphere is OK (noisy). decoration is modern chinese.
